Gender
Our gender program focus on closing the gender gap in the technology sector by using technology tools to educate, inspire, and equip high school girls with the skills and resources to pursue opportunities in STEM fields.
About this cause
In Ghana, gender disparity in STEM education persists, with only 32% of female students enrolled in STEM fields. This gender disparity hinders women’s participation, progress and innovation in science and technology sectors.
Our Gender program aims to promote gender inclusivity, empowering girls to pursue STEM education and careers, fostering a diverse and innovative workforce.
Our work
For nearly a decade now, we have been working with schools in four (4) regions namely Greater-Accra, Northern, Volta, and Western to set up gender-friendly STEM clubs and ICT labs to promote STEM education among girls.
